Apex provides education, training, employment preparation, advice, guidance and support to those excluded or otherwise disadvantaged in the labour market due to: long term unemployment, basic employability needs, being at risk of offending, or suffering a range of barriers to employment such as ESOL, disability, substance misuse problems, health needs, exclusion from mainstream education and homelessness.

Apex aims to engage, integrate, enable and encourage all users to progress towards mainstream provision and or sustainable employment. The organisation also works with employers and employer organisations to address prejudice, reduce discrimination and to promote work based experience, training and employment opportunities.
